Wilton house Supercars is a yearly event where the front of Wilton house becomes a car park for the world’s greatest supercars in aid of the Care for Children charity. Usually held on a Sunday in mid August, the Wilton House Supercar day was held on 14th August 2010.
A McLaren F1, AC Cobra & TVR Tuscan were some of the British Sports Cars on display alongside other exotica like the Lamborghini Murcielago, Ferrari F40, and McLaren Mercedes SLR.
Many of the cars do a run up the Gurston hillclimb, before joining the other cars at Wilton house. A crowd of around 6000 people gathered at Wilton house to see the supercars lined up on the grounds of the historic mansion.
Nick Mason of Pink Floyd and former racing driver Tiff Needell also attended Wilton house for this great charity event.
